Jasmin is the big dreamer turned scientist to bring her dreams to reality. No matter how large the dreams are, for her it’s a matter of when, not if. Her drive is primarily sourced from the fact she wants to push humanity forward, and she knows she’s capable of doing just that.
Omalolu Fiki is an LA based actor and writer who graduated from UCSD with her MFA in 2019.
Chuck is our conspiracy theorist in the woods, trying to get more remote from the technological world. His fears of the woods arise from one thing: Bigfoot. He’s never seen it… but he’s sure it exists. That’s good enough for him.
David is an actor and singer originally from Plano, Texas.
Dax is a discharged navy pilot that is wrestling with his past. At some point in his life, he was as excited as Jasmin to bring about change. But his recent discharge, as well as his new proximity to his brother, Chuck, has darkened his view.
Garrett Schulte graduated from MIT with his BS in Engineering before going to UCSD for his MFA in Acting. He is an LA based actor.
Kayla Windsor is an accomplished freelance Director of Photography and Camera Operator in the film and television industry since 2010. Starting her career in the music industry, Kayla has followed musicians on tour around the globe, covering the largest festivals in the world in multiple genres.
Sam is the team leader of the original trio that discovered the asteroid, though she abandons Jasmin due to Johnathan’s demands. Even with her draw to acclaim, she is the most aligned with Jasmin in her quest to bring a lasting change to the world.
Mary Glen is a New York-based actor, writer, and video editor. She grew up moving around the US, then went to high school in Kansas. She received her BA in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity from Stanford University and her MFA in Acting from UC San Diego. You can check out more of her work and self at heymaryglen.com.
Johnathan is the primary photographer of the astronomy team. He is driven towards his goals, and is willing to push anyone aside to get there.
Lee Vignes is an actor and teacher. Originally from New Orleans, he holds a BFA in acting from Santa Fe University, and an MFA in Acting from UC San Diego.
Richie is brought along with the astronomy team because they try to use his ranch for photographs. Like Dax and Chuck, he goes with the team to give them some protection in the woods.
Mason is an actor, poet, sculptor, and fantastical mess. He is a recent grad of The Old Globe/USD MFA program. He has performed for years on stage in many different states, most recently playing Costard in Love’s Labour’s Lost at Shakespeare by the Sea and Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night at The Old Globe. In LA, he creates with JFI Productions making wild immersive projects for the likes of Amazon and Universal Studios.
Kelly is an intern with the astronomy team, and when things start to go awry, she has the clearest solution for how to stop it. Getting everyone else to listen, however, is more difficult.
Ariana Mahallati is a California based actress with a B.A. in Theatre from U.C. San Diego.
Eva is another intern for Johnathan, brought along to help gather samples of the meteorite. She is one of the first to have an interaction with Sasquatch, though she doesn’t know that’s what it is.
Mary Rose Branick is an actor, director, and collaborative theatre artist from San Francisco, CA. She is a recent graduate of UC San Diego’s MFA program and is currently based in Los Angeles.
Monica is a post-doctorate researcher studying cutting edge ultra-sound technology. Jasmin and Monica were friends in graduate school, but since being apart Monica can feel the awe of discovery disappearing from Dax and her. At the chance to reunite, she takes it, having the best of intentions for everyone.
Christine Penn is a recent Acting MFA graduate from UCSD. She also holds a business degree from California State University Long Beach.
August brought his A-Game capturing sound for us. There was a large cicada bloom right at the time of filming, and he caught awesome sound for us to use. Wouldn’t have been possible without him!
Julie made filming possible with creating a schedule that fit everyone in even during the craziness of COVID and also pulled focus for us. Crazy that she was able to accomplish both jobs so well on our set, and we are very thankful!
Frank stepped into our massive suit and made the antagonist of bigfoot real. While wearing everything, the suit measured over 8 feet tall, and he embodied all of it!
